We mentioned in last week's newsletter that RHET is holding their second fundraising gala on Saturday, 2 March at Ingliston, Edinburgh, and some of you got in touch to ask for further information, both about the event, and how to support it.
The Gala Dinner
This black-tie evening is being held to celebrate RHET's 25th birthday. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal of delicious Scottish produce and an auction with a wide range of exciting experiences and prizes - including Skye the beautiful RHET Sheep, designed by Daniel Threlkeld from Eaglesfield Primary School the winner of the RHET design a sheep competition.
(In case you don't already know, RHET provides a variety of educational visits, projects and activities all linked to food and farming in Scotland, your support will help them keep this free and accessible to schools across Scotland.)
Tickets cost £150 per person and tables seat 10. You can purchase tickets using the button below or contact RHET at 01313356200.
Fundraising Auction
There will be both silent and live auction on the evening. RHET is looking for a wide range of experiences and prizes from hospitality offerings, livestock feed, use of a contractor, fence posts to shepherding days out etc. Can you help?
If you would like to contribute a prize, please email rhetgala@rhet.org.uk. There are some great benefits for those sponsoring or providing an auction lot:
