The Scottish Government is seeking views on proposals to introduce new licensing of activities involving animals when carried on in the course of a business. Views are sought on proposals to licence greyhound racing in Scotland, and replace existing legislation covering animal boarding (including daycare) and riding establishments, replacing it with updated licensing requirements. The storms of the 2023/24 season have been named. While we can be fairly sure some of us will encounter storms Agnes and Babet, and perhaps even Gerrit, let's hope that we don't also have to endure Vincent and Walid!
