Meet the Speakers:
Anna Davies, Director, Scene & Herd
Anna has over thirteen (lucky for some!) years of Public Relations, Communications, Marketing and Publishing experience and set up Scene & Herd back in 2009 to give rural businesses a stronger promotional voice.
Previously, Anna was Public Relations and Communications Manager at the National Farmers’ Union Scotland and Marketing and Communications Manager at Scotland Food & Drink and she loves promoting the ‘farm to fork’ journey – as well as sampling local produce wherever she goes!
With a Psychology degree from Edinburgh University, a Chartered Institute of Public Relations qualification and a nosey streak, Anna is fascinated by the ways in which businesses can communicate with their customers in the most effective way.
Ross (Monty) Montague, Director, Scene & Herd
Monty gets fired up by farming and rural Scotland and is fascinated by all types of rural business.
These passions grip Monty like a terrier grips a rat – if your business has a story to tell Monty won’t let go until it has been told.
In addition to running Scene & Herd, Monty owns and operates a farming business. Formerly Director of the Scottish Countryside Alliance, he also has previous experience in business consultancy covering a plethora of sectors from professional football to energy and care homes.
Emma Dickinson, Digital Media Officer
Emma has worked in several internships in digital marketing and communications over the past few years. From web design to building Facebook communities. She is delighted to join the team at Scottish Land and Estates and hopes to continue to represent and support rural businesses through the growth of SLE digital communications.
