Help us celebrate 150 episodes of the OnFARM podcast!
We are about to hit the 150th episode of the OnFARM podcast.
It’s a huge milestone, and we are extremely proud to be still going from strength to strength, surrounded by a brilliant community, and with steadfast supporters and sponsors.
We’ve had wonderful guests on the show, from high-profile celebs to people that have been loads of fun, and just passionate communicators about the work that goes on in rural Scotland.
We would like to mark the occasion by asking people from across Scottish food and drink, and ‘friends of the pod’, to send us a short ‘selfie-style video message from your phone, that we can put on our social media and on the web, and also use audio of the video in our actual 150th episode.
If you’re expecting to be at the Highland Show, we’ll be there, and by all means you can catch up with us there to record a video – just let us know you’re keen!
However, it would also be brilliant to get some of these videos sent to us in advance. It should only take a couple of minutes, and we’d love to have you involved…
INSTRUCTIONS:
Please hold the phone sideways/horizontally (or get someone else to hold it for you).
Film in a location that’s out of the wind and without too much background noise – in the cab of a vehicle or in a shed or building would be great. (It would be great if your backdrop was relevant to food and farming though – feel free to get creative!)
Start with something that includes the words “OnFARM” and “150th episode”, as well as who you are.
So: “Happy 150th episode OnFARM team, this is Joe Bloggs from the Farming Company….!” Or “Well done OnFARM on making it to 150 episodes, this is Sarah Smith from Smith’s Dairy” or similar. Then add a short follow-up message – it could be a memory of something you’ve heard, or what it was like being interviewed, or just anything really that springs to mind (and is ideally supportive!)
OnFARM’s aim has always been to showcase the brilliant things that go on in rural Scotland and to foster a sense of community among rural communities, so it would be great if your message reflects this in some way.
You don’t need to record more than about 30-40 seconds.
Once you’ve recorded a version you’re happy with, send it to OnFARM producer Dave by email at david@bespoken.media, or Whatsapp at 07912583585 (also the number to call if you’re having technical difficulties).
Our team will also be at the Highland Show recording these videos, so – if you are expecting to be there – by all means catch us there and we can record with you in person.
