...that you were seven years ago?
There is a school of thought that our cells renew every seven years. While this is an oversimplified view of molecular biology, it's true to say that the cells you have today aren't the same as those you had yesterday. You are, in effect, a sort of human version of The Ship of Theseus.
Life has a way of changing us too. Whether it's having a family, suffering loss or seeing things from someone else's point of view, our experiences continually shape us.
Thinking back to 2016: Was it plain sailing or did you get into difficulties? Were you more, or less, confident then? Perhaps you were fitter (or fatter)? Have you changed your opinions on some things since then?
Are you on course to achieve everything you planned for 2023, or have your plans gone adrift?
2030 might sound a long way off but it's just beyond the horizon – and, before long, you're going to start hearing a lot about the 2030 Agenda which comprises 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted unanimously by all UN member states in 2015. The Agenda is a commitment to eradicate poverty and achieve sustainable development by 2030 worldwide.
The scale, ambition and approach of the Agenda are unprecedented and, like all voyages into uncharted territory, require meticulous planning, collaboration and expert advice.
So perhaps the question should be: What is your agenda for 2030? Are you on course to achieve your goals? Who's on board? Can we help you to navigate any choppy PR seas?
